My DSLR christmas.

This Holiday season I was lucky enough to get a DSLR from my family as a gift. It's a used Nikon D5000.  We had been wanting a better camera to document our family as it grows.  The old point and shoot was not dong a good enough job.  I still have a great film camera in the closet, but the convenience of digital was keeping it in hiding. 

This is one of my first shots with the new camera.  I am super excited to have dept of field back in my photos.
